1. Service Description

CompressMyPDF provides a browser-based PDF compression service that runs entirely on your device. Our WebAssembly-powered tool helps you reduce PDF file size while maintaining document quality, all without uploading files to any server.

2. User Guidelines

• Upload only PDF files you have permission to compress
• Maximum file size: 500MB per PDF document
• Files must be in standard PDF format
• No malicious or illegal content
• Service is provided for personal and business use

3. File Processing

The standard PDF compression workflow processes files locally in your browser using WebAssembly and your device resources. The optional Google Drive workflow is a separate exception that transfers the selected file between your browser and Google.

4. Google Drive Integration

If you use the Google Drive integration, you authorize CompressMyPDF to access files you explicitly select and to create a new compressed copy in your Drive. You must have permission to process those files. CompressMyPDF never overwrites the original, and you can revoke access from your Google Account at any time.

5. Service Limitations

• Service provided "as is" without warranties
• Compression speed depends on your device's capabilities
• Browser must support WebAssembly technology
• Maximum file size limited by your device's memory

6. Intellectual Property

Users retain all rights to their PDF files. Our compression technology and service remain our intellectual property.
